Grilled Beef Mishkaki with Blue Band Peanut Butter Sauce

- 5 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
For the meat:
- 400 grams beef filet mignon steak cut into pieces
- 6 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 tablespoon curry powder
To make curry powder
- roasted 1 half teaspoon cumin seeds
- 4 teaspoon coriander seeds
- half teaspoons cardamom pod
- 1/4 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 inch cinnamon
- half teaspoon black peppercorn
Once roasted, blend the whole spices with
- 2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
For the sause
- 3 tablespoon Blue Band peanut butter
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic and ginger paste
- Mix together the ingredients for the meat and marinate for at least 24 hours. Grill over a coal barbecue for 12-15 minutes until slightly charred and meat is tender.
- In a pot add all the ingredients of the sauce and whisk until the sauce thickens and starts bubbling.
- Serve with the mishkaki.
