- 1 tablespoon Blue Band margarine
- 2 onions slice
- salt
- 200 grams mincemeat
- crushed ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 cheddar cheese slice
For Assembling
- 2 tablespoon Blue Band margarine
- 2 burger buns
- 4 tablespoon Blue Band mayonnaise
- lettuce
- tomatoes slice
- Heat margarine in a pan and add the onions. Let the onions caramelize for 15-20 minutes.
- For the burgers, take half of the meat into your hand. Lightly pack the meat together in your palms and once it forms a compact ball, flatter it out on a chopping board. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a grill and add the meat patty on it. Cook for 10-12 minutes on each side or to your liking.
- Add the cheese on the meat and let melt. Set aside.
- Cut your burger buns into half, spread some margarine on it and toast them on a pan.
- To assemble, take the bottom of the toasted bun, spread a layer of mayonnaise followed by lettuce, tomato, meat patty, caramelized onions and top with the top bun. Serve.
