Cinnamon Rolls

A cinnamon roll is a sweet baked dough filled with a cinnamon-sugar filling. Made with a rich dough leavened with yeast, their characteristic form is due to rolling a dough sheet containing sweetened cinnamon filling. Common toppings for cinnamon rolls include Icing sugar or a sugar glaze.

  • 120 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • salt
  • 240 grams warm milk
  • 12 grams Blue Band margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350degrees Celcius
  2. Put flour in a bowl. Add yeast, sugar, salt, and warm milk to the mix.
  3. Add one whole egg and Blue Band Margarine to the bowl.
  4. Mix them well.
  5. Once a dough is formed, knead until smooth.
  6. Flatten the Dough and Brush with Blue Band Margarine.
  7. Sprinkle Cinnamon on the Flattened dough and roll tightly.
  8. Slice the roll into 1 1/2 inch counts and place them on a baking tray
  9. Bake for 20 minutes until Golden Brown.
  10. Sprinkle some icing sugar and serve.
